Send a tip or correction
Have a local story, a useful public record, or a correction? Tell us what you know and include a source if you have one.
What you can send us:
- News tips — something happening in the village, town, schools, or local government that we should cover
- Fact-check requests — a Facebook post, news article, flyer, or public claim you'd like us to verify
- Corrections — something we got wrong in an article (we take accuracy seriously)
- Documents — public records, meeting materials, or other evidence that supports a story
How we handle submissions:
- Tips are anonymous by default — contact info is optional
- We verify before publishing — submissions inform our reporting, not replace it
- We protect sources — we never reveal who sent a tip without permission
- Fact-checks cite primary sources with footnotes so you can verify our work too
